Dumpster Sizes: 10-Yard and 16-Yard Roll-Off Dumpsters

Dumpster Dogs keeps the size choice simple. We rent two roll-off dumpsters across Hendricks, Morgan and Putnam Counties — a 10-yard and a 16-yard. Both share the same 12' × 7.5' footprint, so the only real questions are how much debris you have and how heavy it is.

Every price below is all-in: delivery, pickup, disposal up to the included weight allowance and taxes. Extra days are $25/day and overweight disposal is $0.06 per pound on certified scale tickets. See the full rate and fee schedule.

Which dumpster size do you need?

Debris volume decides the size; debris weight decides whether you will pay an overage. Heavy material — concrete, brick, dirt, wet shingles — fills the weight allowance long before it fills the box, so the smaller dumpster is often the right call for dense loads.

Dumpster size questions

What dumpster sizes does Dumpster Dogs rent?

Dumpster Dogs rents two roll-off sizes in Hendricks, Morgan and Putnam Counties: a 10-yard (12' × 7.5' × 4', 1-ton allowance, from $299 for 3 days) and a 16-yard (12' × 7.5' × 6', 2-ton allowance, from $359 for 3 days). Both have the same footprint, so if one fits your driveway, so does the other.

What size dumpster do I need?

Choose the 10-yard when you are clearing one room, one garage or a single small remodel — roughly three pickup-truck loads. Choose the 16-yard for whole-house cleanouts, roof tear-offs or multi-room remodels — roughly six loads. The 16-yard holds 60% more debris for $60 more at the 3-day rate, which is almost always cheaper than ordering a second dumpster.

Do both dumpster sizes fit in a residential driveway?

Yes. Both the 10-yard and the 16-yard are about 12 feet long and 7.5 feet wide, so they fit in nearly every Hendricks County driveway without blocking the garage. Only the wall height differs (4 ft versus 6 ft). We place boards under the rails on request to protect concrete and asphalt.

How much weight is included with each dumpster size?

The 10-yard includes a 1-ton (2,000 lb) disposal allowance and the 16-yard includes a 2-ton (4,000 lb) allowance. Anything over the allowance is billed at $0.06 per pound using certified landfill scale tickets — no estimates.

Can I keep a dumpster longer than the rental period?

Yes. Extra days are $25/day, subject to availability. Tell us before your scheduled pickup day and we will extend the rental if the dumpster is not already committed to another customer.
